Concrete is unforgiving work. Once it is poured, mistakes in the base, the pitch, or the finish are permanent, and correcting them means breaking it out and starting over. We would rather take the time up front.
We pour and finish driveways, walkways, steps, aprons, and foundations, and we handle masonry work alongside our landscaping and hardscaping so the whole exterior comes together as one job.
Pitch is the detail that matters most and gets ignored most. Concrete has to move water away from the house and off the surface. Poured flat or pitched the wrong way, you get standing water, ice in winter, and eventually cracking.
Because we also do the landscaping and hardscaping, the grading around new concrete is handled at the same time — the lawn, beds, and pavers meet the concrete cleanly instead of leaving you with an obvious repair line.
